New Baby....

There is a new baby in town!!

Mr. Grayson Charles Roy was born on Saturday October 21st at 8:55 am! Weighing in at 8lbs 5oz and measuring 21" in length this little guy is the son of proud parents Marc and Jennifer!!

Jenn is doing great, she had a little bit of a rough go, but when i called she was laying in bed just gazing at the little man falling a bit more in love as each second passed....

Mommy and Me

Nolan and I started swimming lessons yesterday!! What a hoot it was so fun, he loved every minute of it, i just couldn't get the smile off my face watching him splash and laugh and blow bubbles... we had to dunk them and he came up smiling:)
I was super excited for this class ever since i joined us up a month back, until of the course the day of the lesson when i suddenly realized that "swimming" meant the dreaded....bathing suit aaaahhhhh so i thought of ways i could go in the pool fully dressed and somehow not look silly...
1. I forgot my bathing suit and would you really deny this face a swim while holding up Nolan...
2. I have an illness that requires i wear my jeans and hoodie at all times...mental illness well maybe!
3. Oops i tripped in the pool, oh well i am here now what is the point in changing??

but then i thought who cares (actually my mom and mark thought this...) so i went anyway and it was fun and i am pretty sure not one person even looked at me!! ( i mean who would when i have the lil guy in my arms??) so it was fun and we have our next class tomorrow!

Well hi there....

Hello All
Well yes it has been awhile, i have been busy doing god knows what..just things i guess
and everyday i check everyones blog and curse at you all for not updating so I in all my busyness have something to read and then I realize that i am even cursing at myself because everytime i click on my own it is the same old stuff too!!

Well here it is October and I had so many things happen this summer that you would think i would try to find the time to blog it down to share. Nolan and I went on a long Vacation here is a quick recap
July15-28 Cape Breton-- Had a blast got to introduce Nolan to everyone in marks family which was great, they had a big party for us and we had lots of quality time with his Nanny, Grammy, Poppy, and Grampy he loved all the attention and was sad to leave his Auntie who spent all there time kissing and hugging and taking care of him..
July28-Aug 6 Halifax-- Great time I went to JoAnns wedding, and saw all my friends and went swimming and Nolan got babysat by Jenn (she is due today!!) to give her and her husband some practice! we got lots of great gifts and Nolan got tons of attention (which he loves!)
Aug6-Aug 9- New Brunswick-- WOW Nolan got lots of love here stayed with my Aunt and Uncle and they thought he was just great drove here with mom and dad and got to go to the states to shop and had a really great time
Aug9-11- Drove to Ontario-- Nolan was great, drive was great and we got to go swimming!
Aug 11-23 Ontario-- Nothing makes you miss your parents more than them being so great with your child and helping so much and being so cute and grandparent like... Nolan got to meet lots of extended family and his Great-Grandparents. gots tons of great gifts and had such a fantastic time with everyone. Tracy and I went to Canadas wonderland and felt like kids again on all the rides and mom and pat got to babysit which i think suited them just fine!

Aug 23- Home-- felt nice to get home and finally see mark who missed us like crazy all in all it was agreat trip!

So that was a little recap of the summer now i am up to date i won't feel so overwhelmed to blog it all so look forward to more enteries soon!!

Let Us Compare....

Okay so I know Nolan Nolan Nolan, but really he is just such a little doll I just can't resist writing about him... I thought it would be neat to do a little size comparison to show just how big he is getting in his third month (which has totally flown by....) We have booked our flight to go home to Halifax where he will meet all the friend family and then we are going to Cape Breton to meet his daddies family and then on the last leg of the trip we are heading to Ontario to meet some of my family and to see some of them for the second time.. we are both very excited although Mark is a little sad because he just realized this week when I was discussing the itinerary

( yes i am my fathers daughter) that we would be gone for a month!!! so he is all sad he will miss major milestones in Nolans life... but i don't think he will be walking or talking anytime soon..so bring on the trip:0

3 Months Old

Wow ,
I don't know where the time has gone but the little bambino is going to be 3 months in two days.. he is growing more delightful everyday, mostly because he sleeps through the night and now rambles on with little squeeky sounds and "talks" to me when we are driving or hanging out, he also smiles and likes to stand on his chunky legs and swings around like a monkey..
He has pooped on me, peed on me and spit up on me numerous times and yet I still love him:) that must be some sort of test for new parents....

No Sleep...

I don't know if this is some sort of sick, getting me ready for Motherhood thing but man I cannot for the life of me sleep... I am awake every hour, I have checked my email, or others blogs or played computer games every hour, I have watched T.V, made a grocery list, gone into the babies room played with little clothes etc...every hour and yet throughout the day I am Exhausted... it is so strange.

OH I also have severe carpul (sp?) tunnel so just typing this is killing me and I am only typing with one hand because my left one has decided to seize up and not release....awsome, at least my feet are not really swollen and I only have a little time left yet... maybe fear has set in and that is why my lack of sleep has begun??
My parents are flying in tomorrow and I haven't seen them for over a year.. I am so excited the only thing that sucks is that our apartment is so tiny and now there will be four adults and one very large belly (see previous post) in this place all trying to walk, eat, etc.. fun fun

Okay not making much sense I'll post more later...
